We can drop you along the track for a day or half day walk. You will return along a beautiful stretch of track along the Donnelly River for a well deserved spa and glass of wine.

Rather ride your bike then walk? No worries the Munda Biddi comes right past. The Munda Biddi Trail (which means path through the forest in the Noongar Aboriginal language) is fast becoming a world-class nature-based off-road cycling experience. There are few places left in the world where a 1000km track could be built through an undeveloped natural corridor.

The Southern Forests are renowned for their production of the black truffle. Hunt some truffles yourself at the Truffle and Wine Company. We offer a free drop off and pick up for the 2016 truffle kerfuffle for our guests. You can partake of all the local produce and wines without someone having to be skipper.

The area boosts an abundance of wineries to visit. Have a platter while you are there. Try the tapas style lunch at Lost Lake Winery or a delicious meal at The Wine and Truffle Company up the road. There are many more to try in the area.

Fish for trout in the river or creek in season. The river is stocked with trout twice a year, both upstream and downstream from us.

If you would like a day or half day trip in the south west we are well situated to give you access to Nannup, Balingup, Bridgetown, Pemberton & Manjimup. You can spend some time visiting Walpole and the treetop walk, or the many wineries and galleries of the area.

You don't have to go to far to meet some locals. The chalets are frequently visited by kangaroos, emu's, birds and even sheep.

Meandering along the 12 km section of the Donnelly River, we will transverse a diverse eco system that is only accessible by boat. From the lush Jarrah and Karri forests, through the Paperbark and wetlands, to the limestone cliffs and majestic Southern Ocean.

The river has bubbling cascades of water in the wet season and tranquil pools in the dry season. And always the sounds of the birds. Take a picnic and local bottle of wine and explore. There is a picnic backpack in the chalet for you to use.

Practise your swing

Practise your swing

Play a game of golf on the lovely Manjimup golf course which boasts grass greens. A minimal charge allows you to play all day - you can break for lunch in town and return for an afternoon session if you wish. Visitors are most welcome.
